The Vancouver Global Dance Project's mission is to cultivate young talent and inspire the next generation of dancers and choreographers. We believe that in Vancouver there are currently not enough opportunities for young dancers and dance companies to develop work for performance and we want to change this! Through the VGDP Performance Series we will present the work of accomplished dancers, creative choreographers and inspiring youth-based dance companies and in-turn establish new audiences for youth-based contemporary dance.

Submissions

The VGDP is inviting youth-based dance companies from across Canada to submit their work for a chance to perform at this year's VGDP Performance Series. We are looking for contemporary work of high-calibre based on clarity of idea, performance standard, relevance, awareness of form, demonstrating a sense of adventure, play and experimentation. To submit your company's work please complete and return the performance submission form.
